We've started a pile for our trip to the hospital and will get the carseat installed in the next week or so - just in case Ryder decides to come a little early. Last week, we did about 4 baby-only loads of laundry! His room is now completely ready for him - other than that pink trim... This weekend, Shawn and I took advantage of one of our last weekends alone together and spent the night in Minneapolis. Not wanting to go too far from home this late in my pregnancy, it was the perfect mini vacation. We put on about 6 miles walking around the city going everywhere from Tuggs at St. Anthony on Main, to Britts, Solera, Zelos, Harry's and West River Parkway for the Aquatennial fireworks :) At 35 weeks, Ryder is now over 5-1/2 pounds and is just over 20" long. While I'm still feeling great, it feels like I am running out of room for him in my tummy! I'm hoping he doesn't get too much bigger, but with me a 8lb 6oz baby and Shawn a 8lb 5oz baby, he may have a few pounds to put on yet!

33 Weeks
As ready as I am for Ryder to arrive, I am still feeling great and coasting through this pregnancy. Time really is flying. With only 7 weeks to go, we thought we should make it a priority to finish the nursery. Tonight I'll attempt to paint a tree on the wall behind his crib. Hopefully it turns out. This week, Ryder is about 4.5 pounds, 19.5 inches long and still very active! He gets the hiccups a lot, too! Here's an updated photo - I don't feel like I'm growing, but each time I take these photos it becomes very obvious to me. And then I think "am I really going to get even BIGGER?!" I suppose that answer is yes - he still has some growing to do :)

32 Weeks
Haha - so the other night I had fallen asleep before Shawn (and apparently Ryder)...little did I know that Shawn was awake playing with the baby - Shawn would poke my belly and Ryder would kick right back. After a while, Shawn couldn't hold the laughter in and I woke up to him giggling. The boys are causing trouble already ;) I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time I'm woken up by those two goofing around - haha. At 32 weeks, our little one is about 4 pounds and just under 19 inches long. 7-1/2 weeks to go!!
