Logan: 14 Months

I still have to get to Logan's 1 year post, but for now I'm skipping ahead to the present!  Our little Logan is 14 months already!  Here are a few things about him at this age:

- He pushes trucks and cars, saying "Brrrrr...."

- He is a climber with no fear!  He climbs our high-top chairs, ladders, baby gates...just about anything.  Thankfully, he has not tried to climb out of his crib. Yet.

- He eats 3 meals and an afternoon snack.  He feeds himself (though makes a huge mess if using a spoon).  He pretty much dropped the morning and bedtime bottle on his own.  Sometimes I give him an evening bottle just for a little extra nutrition. 

- He is a great sleeper!  He naps for about 2 hours in the morning (9am-11am) and 2 - 3 hours in the afternoon (1-3pm).  Then goes to bed and sleeps from 7pm to 6:30am.  At all three times, when I sing to him in his bedroom, he snuggles for a minute, then pushes away and reaches for his crib.  He lays on his tummy, curls his arms beneath him, puts his butt in the air, and goes right to sleep.  Unless he's teething, he does this without a peep (today he's teething...)

- He's been signing "milk" and "more" again.  This time with intention.

- He speaks with single letter sounds "Eee", "Buh" but also started saying "Mama" (pretty much gets whatever he wants when he says that...)

- He says "hi" and waves to everyone, anywhere we are

- He loves to be outside!  If he's ever cranky, you just have to bring him outside!

- He also loves baths

- He gives open mouth kisses and likes to snuggle

- He and Ry get along so well.  Ryder takes great care of him.

- He is still in his infant carseat...we're due to shop for a bigger one.

- He can throw a ball

Logan - it's so much fun to watch you explore and giggle at everything!  You are getting so much "easier" as a toddler compared to being a baby (except for when you're teething).  You are also starting to understand what we say ("go to your highchair" "sit down" "stop" - though to this one you usually stop, turn around and smile with a 'come and get me' look!)  We love you little buddy!
