Summer Fun

What a fun long weekend we've had. It started with our first bike ride with Brecken! He wasn't crazy about the helmet and seemed to just tolerate the ride without a headrest, but hopefully he'll like it more when he's fed and has the right setup.

No more free rides ;)

We biked to Chipotle for dinner. Ryder did a great job with the 10 mile ride - especially since he rode 10 miles the day before. Logan has been loving rides in the WeeHoo :)

We also spent a lot of time with family by the water.

Ryder learned to swim in the deep end without a life jacket! It was hard to convince him to try it, but once he did, he was hooked! He did lots of flips and twists off the diving board, swimming to the side after each one :)

My favorite was when Shawn and Ryder played 'p-i-g'. (You have to repeat the other persons trick or you get a letter)

Mikayla and I did a few flips, too :)

Logan and Leyla played so nice together and both swam so well in the deep end with life jackets...

We sang happy birthday...

Brecky swam...

We did some 4-wheeling...

The kids pushed grandpa in the pool...

I rode with my littlest sister for the first time since she became a legal driver...in her new [to her] Xterra :)

Quinny and Brecken hung out in the gazebo...

Breck's drove a boat for the first time...

I pent lots of time snuggling with my boys...

The boys went tubing...and got dumped for the first time...

Shawn set a few turns...

We watched a boat parade....

And overall, spent a lot of time just relaxing with family.
