He's come a long way since his first haircut! He loved sitting in the chair, chatting with the lady, and watching ESPN :)

Maternity Leave
Today is the beginning of the last week of my maternity leave. I have a feeling that my first day back is going to be harder this time than the last two. Maybe it's because he's our last, maybe it's because he seems too tiny to leave (since he was a preemie), or maybe it's because this pregnancy / delivery / birth was so emotional. Whatever the reason, I am totally savoring my last few days with just him.
In the spirit of taking advantage of this time, we have done a few things in the last couple days that I have loved.
We had a Christmas crafting day at my mom's. Just Brecken, my mom and I. So relaxing - and I made a pair of Christmas pj's for Ry :)
We did BYOB (bring your own baby) yoga at Blooma. I had done this with Logan when he was a baby and totally loved it. It was just as special with Brecken. I wanted to photograph the whole class to savor the experience, but knowing that would be ridiculous, I just took this one:
And then today, we had a playdate with Jen / Cora / Mari and Alison / Reese / Claire. I love love love chatting with these moms over coffee, watching the little ones play and snuggling our babies. This is another one of the moments I know I'll long for once our kids have grown.
Lunchtime
Three more days to enjoy...

Brecken | Sleeping
Brecken slept through the night for the first time last night!! A silent 'woot woot!!' - immediately followed by 'Ohmygosh, I hope he's ok!' :)
He slept from 10:30pm - 5:45am :) (And I think he last ate at 9pm) After eating, he went right back to sleep. And just in time for going back to work. Keep it up Brecken!!

Friday with Three
Yesterday was a no-school day, so I got to enjoy some one-on-one time with Ryder while the two littles were napping. He kicked my butt at Wii tennis! It was so much fun actually trying to beat him!!
We also had a day of celebrating Christmas. We did lots of Christmas art, made gingerbread houses, and had red and green pancakes for breakfast.
I'm not going to lie, by the end of the day I'm pretty sure I was walking around 60% asleep, but I know as our kids grow, I won't remember being exhausted, but I will remember my many attempts to beat Ryder in Wii, us eating way too many gingerbread house ingredients, the three of us making Brecky giggle...and cleaning up a lot of paint and glitter after all our art ;)
(To clarify - on a typical day, I've been feeling good, but the one-on-three days are a bit more work ;)

Sweet Dreams
"There are moments that I know I will long for even as I live them."
This is one of a million of those. Easy bedtime starting with sleepy smiles and ending with Pachabels Cannon on repeat.
